Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me. My path to the San Diego area has been a long and varied one.
I grew up in Australia earning an engineering bachelor’s degree and working in construction management. I lived and worked in Europe and Saudi Arabia on my way to the U.S. I came to the U.S. to earn an MBA from U.C. Berkeley and spent 20+ years in marketing at various companies, including Kraft, Hunt-Wesson, A.C Nielsen and Travelers Insurance. I also had an opportunity to work in a start-up environment.
In 2000, my family and I were lucky enough to move to Carlsbad and of all the places I’ve visited in the world, I cannot think of any better place to live. Since moving here, I’ve coached and refereed soccer and co-founded Coyote Dads, an arm of the Calavera Hills School PTAs in the Carlsbad Unified School District.
I believe my varied personal and professional life experiences provides me with a unique perspective with which to work with customers. My professional success with marketing and research expertise, construction knowledge and solid negotiating skills combined with my attention to detail, and strong communication skills have positioned me well for a real estate career where I can focus on my client’s needs. I believe my key personal traits of integrity, energy, “can-do” attitude and focus on others have been honed through my professional and personal experiences.
So, you might ask, how does this all relate to buying or selling my home? All my years of experience have taught me to operate under three key principles:
1. Clients First – Everything I do will be in the best interests of my clients and to make this sometimes daunting process of buying or selling a home as simple and enjoyable as possible.
2. Integrity – If I always act with integrity, I can be proud of my actions and represent you to the best of my ability.
3. Education – Educate clients so they can make informed decisions. I cannot tell you if a particular house is the right one for you, or if you should take a particular offer in selling your home. I can, and will, however, help educate you so that you can make the right decision for you and your family with a full perspective of current market conditions.
